Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Design & Soil Morphology Evaluations Gredell Engineering conducts soil morphology evaluations and we design onsite wastewater treatment systems (OWTS) for residential and commercial properties. We are actively involved in preparing professional engineered designs, documents and reports for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS) for OWTS permit approval. Mineral Resource Evaluation Gredell Engineering can assist you with an initial mineral resource evaluation, whether you are wanting to start a gravel, clay or limestone mining operation. With our extensive knowledge of the geology in the state of Missouri and through geologic literature reviews, Gredell Engineering will help evaluate your anticipated mineral resource. Surface Mining & Reclamation Gredell Engineering provides and assists clients with the preparation, submittal and approval of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) surface mining permits, air operating and construction permits, and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater permits for development of open-pit quarry operations. Other services include the preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and a Spill, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans for your surface mining operation. For existing surface mining operations, our experienced staff will work with you to release the bond liability of reclaimed land, reclamation variance requests, alternate land use change requests, and request approval of permit revisions involving mined and reclaimed ground near the Solid Waste Management Area (SWMA) in accordance with Missouri Land Reclamation Program (MLRP) regulations. Shooting Range Characterization & Reclamation Shooting range characterization and reclamation is just another specialized service we provide at Gredell Engineering. Our services include lead determination/delineation of shooting range cumulative shot-fall areas, site characterizations and sample collection, and the identification of lead reclamation and chemical stabilization areas.
