CIVIL / ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER, Springfield
Gredell Engineering is looking for a Project Manager (10 + years of experience) to lead and grow our Springfield, Missouri office within 2 years of hire. The position requires strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, sub-consultants, and project stakeholders. A Professional Engineer license is required. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Strong writing and verbal communication skills are a must. Intermittent travel away from the office and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Projects will include: civil engineering; municipal engineering; geotechnical engineering; large earthwork and grading projects; stormwater and water resources; potable water; wastewater; and/or solid waste projects. Marketing new, prospective and existing clients is required. Project activities include: scope and proposal preparation; pre-design evaluation; conceptual design; design development; preparation of construction documents (plans and specs); construction cost estimating; environmental/local permitting and construction observation. Long-term marketing responsibilities will include existing clients and new client development.
