Roadway Improvements: Conducted a subsurface investigation to characterize the soil and rock stratigraphy for the purpose of evaluating rock-cut stability and the compressibility of existing soils in the vicinity of the proposed re-alignment and improvements to Frog Hollow Road in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. General scope of field investigation included exploratory borings located in the area of the proposed rock-cut and portions of the proposed alignment crossing existing alluvial soils. Analyzed field data and observations, local soil and rock stratigraphy and laboratory data to prepare a report that provided a description of the investigation and its findings, rock cut recommendations, a soil compressibility evaluation and material and compaction recommendations.
