Provided professional third-party assessment of reclamation status
and
outstanding reclamation liabilities for a closed coal mining operation
under consideration for bond forfeiture proceedings. Required
thorough
knowledge of regulatory criteria as well as specific permit
conditions.
Effort included assessment of acid and toxic materials and adequate

County:
Currently assisting a large surface coal mining operation with the
preparation and submittal of bond liability release applications to
the
state regulatory authority, the Missouri Department of Natural
Resources. Have successfully completed dozens of the release
applications since 2003, enabling client to obtain complete release of
bond liability for large sections of mine, which was closed in
1993.

Responsible for acquiring annual surface mining permit for major
limestone quarry with sites throughout central Missouri. Permit

Successfully completed several large multi-site permit transfers for
a
limestone quarry operation located in northwestern Missouri.
Permitting
