SOLID WASTE PROJECTS

Franklin County:  Currently involved with the design and permitting of a proposed utility waste landfill facility located in east-central Missouri.  Duties include conducting a subsurface geologic investigation, preparation of construction permit application documents, and providing assistance with local county permitting and zoning criteria.  Project is ongoing. St. Charles County:  In charge of the development and permitting of a proposed Demolition Landfill site located in the St. Louis metropolitan area.  Conducted preliminary and detailed geologic site investigation, developed construction permit documents, provided technical support for public meetings and expert witness testimony, and completed related environmental permitting with County authorities.  Contact Mr. Michael Roberts, Metro Fill Development, L.L.C., St. Louis, Missouri, 314-835-1515.

Pike County:  Provided professional engineering services for a sanitary landfill facility to redesign existing landfill configuration and prepare request to leave existing unlined waste in place.  Also responsible for preparation of revised closure and post closure plans for the site.  Contact Mr. Christopher Landoll, Eagle Ridge Landfill, Bowling Green, Missouri, 573-324-5610.

St. Louis City:  Worked as subcontractor for development of Masterplan Evaluation and Preliminary Expansion Design for Special Waste Landfill used for biosolids incineration residuals.  Tasks included evaluating the remaining life of the landfill, completing the preliminary expansion design, identifying impediments to continued site use and provided recommendation for waste management for the next twenty years of projected life expectancy.  Contact Tom Ratzki, P.E., Black & Veatch Corporation, Chesterfield, Missouri, 636-532-1051.
